You'll play an important role in making sure customers have the right information, imagery and content at every stage of their online journey whilst also looking at how technology, data and new ways of working can make the merchandising process even better. What you'll be doing You'll take ownership of the quality and accuracy of product content across the online platforms, making sure products look their best and give customers everything they need to make an informed purchase. This will include: - Managing and maintaining Product Display Pages (PDPs), ensuring titles, descriptions, specifications, images, prices, badges, labels and key selling points are accurate and presented in the correct format. - Making sure products have all the correct supporting documentation, including energy labels, fiche files and manuals. - Working closely with suppliers and internal teams to source product information, imagery and rich media and ensure these are uploaded promptly. - Maintaining excellent product data integrity across the website and PIM system. - Spotting gaps, inaccuracies and inefficiencies and taking the initiative to put things right. - Looking for opportunities to improve the merchandising workflow, making processes faster, more accurate and more productive. - Keeping up to date with emerging technology and new data sources, including AI and PIM developments, and exploring how these can improve the merchandising function. - Recording results and sharing your findings and recommendations with the Product Merchandising Manager. What we're looking for You'll ideally have 3+ years' experience in eCommerce merchandising, digital trading, online category management or a closely related environment. We're particularly interested in people who are: - Highly detail-oriented, with a real eye for accuracy. - Commercially aware and interested in what makes an online product perform. - Confident working with PIM systems and product data. - Comfortable using Microsoft 365, particularly Excel including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, XLOOKUP or similar. - Experienced with project/workflow management platforms such as ClickUp, Trello, Monday or Asana. - Familiar with CMS and DAM platforms. - Comfortable working with product documentation and regulatory requirements, including energy labelling. - Able to carry out basic HTML/CMS editing. - Familiar with analytics or testing tools. - Naturally curious about technology and interested in how AI and emerging data sources can improve the way eCommerce merchandising is done. A degree, diploma or relevant qualification in eCommerce, marketing, product content, online sales or a related discipline would be useful, but relevant experience is equally important.
