Performance & Development Coordinator
Location: Tipton Contract: Initial 3-Month Temporary Contract (with potential to become permanent) Salary: Competitive
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a highly organised and proactive HR or L&D professional to join a growing business on an initial 3-month contract. This role has the potential to become permanent for the right person.
Working closely with managers across the business, you will play a key role in embedding and monitoring the company's performance development processes, ensuring managers and employees remain engaged with appraisals, probation reviews, objectives and regular 1:1 discussions. This role is less focused on traditional training delivery and more focused on driving accountability, tracking compliance and supporting managers to develop their teams.
Key Responsibilities

Track completion of employee appraisals across the business and follow up where required.

Monitor probation review activity, ensuring managers are following the correct process and supporting them where needed.

Track regular 1:1 meetings and performance discussions.

Produce reports highlighting compliance and non-compliance with performance management processes.

Support managers in setting effective objectives for employees successfully completing probation.

Maintain performance and development trackers, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.

Identify areas where additional support, coaching or training may be required.

Build strong relationships with managers to encourage engagement with performance development activities.
About You
-
Previous experience within HR, Learning & Development, Talent, People Operations or a similar role.

Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.

Confident working with data, trackers and reporting tools.

Comfortable challenging and influencing managers to ensure processes are followed.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
