    IT Sales Account Manager Remote (flexible on candidate location within the UK) Salary £35k + £5k Car Allowance + c£20k OTE + Benefits An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced IT Sales Account Manager to join the Asset Management division of an established IT solutions provider. The division provides IT asset disposal (ITAD), refurbishment, recycling and resale services, helping organisations manage retired technology securely, sustainably and cost-effectively. This is predominantly an account-management role, taking responsibility for an established portfolio of diverse customers across public and private sectors including NHS trusts, housing associations and retailers, commercial businesses, etc. You will develop these relationships, grow the services provided and identify opportunities to introduce customers to the company s broader portfolio of IT products and solutions. The role is approximately 80% account management and 20% new business development. New opportunities will be generated through existing relationships, collaboration with other business units and targeted prospecting. This opportunity would suit an experienced sales professional from an IT reseller, IT hardware, end-user computing, workplace technology or related technology environment. Previous experience within ITAD, refurbished hardware, device lifecycle services or ADISA-accredited environments would be advantageous but is not essential as training will be provided. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and develop an established portfolio of customer accounts - Identify opportunities to expand existing ITAD, refurbishment and lifecycle services - Cross-sell the company s wider portfolio of IT products, solutions and services - Build strong relationships with stakeholders across IT, procurement and related functions - Develop new business through existing relationships, internal referrals and targeted prospecting - Manage opportunities from initial qualification through to proposal, negotiation and close - Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline and account information through CRM - Attend customer and internal meetings when required Requirements: - Sales or account management experience within an ITAD provider, IT reseller, IT hardware, end-user computing, workplace technology or related environment - Proven ability to develop customer relationships and identify growth opportunities - Good general knowledge of IT hardware and the technology lifecycle - Strong communication, relationship-building and consultative sales skills - Commercially driven, organised and self-motivated - Comfortable working independently in a remote role - Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when required - Experience of IT asset disposal, refurbished hardware, secure data destruction, device lifecycle services or the ADISA standard would be advantageous but is not essential.
