Universal Banker

First Federal Lakewood is seeking a Universal Banker 2 to deliver exceptional customer service while supporting a full range of branch banking activities. In this role, you'll open and maintain accounts, process teller transactions, assist with consumer lending, and educate customers on digital and in-branch banking solutions. You'll actively identify customer needs, make product and service recommendations, and refer to specialists as appropriate. Working in a collaborative, community-focused team, you'll help customers reach their financial goals while ensuring compliance with banking regulations, security policies, and cash-handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized customer service for retail banking clients

• Open, maintain, and service personal and small business accounts

• Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other teller transactions accurately

• Educate customers on bank products, services, and digital banking tools

• Identify customer needs and make product referrals to specialists

• Support consumer lending activities, including applications and documentation

• Balance cash drawer and maintain cash-handling controls and security

• Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulations

• Assist with resolving customer questions, issues, and account discrepancies
