Sr. Collections Specialist

North Easton Savings Bank, a leader in biotechnology and pharmaceutical banking, is seeking a Sr. Collections Specialist to manage a complex portfolio of delinquent commercial and consumer accounts. In this role, you will lead high-level collection efforts, negotiate payment solutions, and ensure strict adherence to banking and collections regulations. You will collaborate with credit, legal, and relationship teams to support innovative biotech clients while optimizing recovery and minimizing risk. Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of complex and high-risk delinquent commercial and consumer accounts

• Conduct outreach via phone, email, and written communication to resolve past-due balances

• Negotiate payment arrangements, settlements, and restructures within policy guidelines

• Ensure all collection activities comply with FDCPA, FCRA, UDAAP, and bank policies

• Analyze account histories and financial data to assess risk and recovery options

• Escalate and coordinate with legal, credit, and relationship managers on problematic accounts

• Document all collection actions and customer interactions in the bank's systems accurately and timely

• Monitor portfolio metrics and prepare regular performance and risk reports for management

• Contribute to process improvements and best practices in collections operations

• Mentor junior collections staff and support training on compliance and customer experience Required Skills
