    The Treasury Services Officer is responsible for building strong partnerships across all business lines with a focus of providing treasury and account management support to the Bank's CRB (Cannabis Related Business) customers while expanding and retaining existing customers. This position directly contributes to the Bank's deposit growth goal by ensuring customers' needs are fully met while providing the best possible customer experience. The ideal candidate must have a solid banking background with expertise in Treasury Services products and with providing excellent customer service. A strong focus on "wowing" internal and external customers. Essential Job Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: - Engages in business development and client servicing activities for all indirect and direct cannabis prospects and customers, providing consultative working cash flow assessments and recommendations of the Bank's products and services. - Responsible for preparing account analysis pro-formas and proposals and driving collaboration between business lines to provide the best possible new customer experience. - Facilitates onboarding of all new customer relationships through the Shield platform, including opening accounts and facilitating the implementation of treasury management services. - Trains customers in the Shield Assure compliance platform, post account opening. - As needed, provides additional service to Commercial and Business Banking customers on all deposit and treasury management needs with support from the Operations Team. - Monitors customer relationships and performs relationship reviews on the Bank's cannabis customers and presents findings and recommendations to customers thus enhancing relationships and retention. - Acts as liaison between CRB customers, internal bank departments including BSA, Compliance, Operations and Retail. - Manages the risk exposure relative to treasury management services. - Provides timely and responsive customer service by meeting agreed-upon deadlines and commitments. - Proactively participates in partners' team and sales meetings providing input, training and assistance in developing business. - Supports management decisions and goals in a positive, professional manner and represents the Bank with a high level of integrity. - Works closely and collaboratively with other departments in the Bank, treating all employees with respect. - Maintains knowledge of treasury management policies and procedures and follows all bank policies and procedures, and compliance regulations. - Assumes responsibility for special projects as assigned. Required Knowledge, Skills & Work Experience - Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing or finance preferred or equivalent education and work experience. - Three (3) to five (5) years of cash management or treasury services within the banking industry required. - Proficient in Microsoft Office Products and other Database software. - Strong time management, contact management and records management skills. - Knowledge of key bank regulations, including, but not limited to, Know Your Customer, the Bank Secrecy Act, and Anti-Money Laundering policies, procedures and related programs especially as they relate to cannabis banking. Physical Demands The employee will operate in a general office environment, using office equipment such as a phone and a computer. The employee must be able to bend and squat occasionally when accessing computer or treasury services related equipment. This position will be required to use transportation to visit client and potential client businesses in a variety of industries and work environments. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate as compared to a private office with light foot traffic and office equipment. The Head of Investment Accounting Governance is a key role in the delivery of MassMutual's investment strategy and in this, MassMutual's purpose: to provide financial well-being to all Americans. This position will the lead the team that is responsible for designing and executing the processes supporting the integrity of the accounting data information from the Company's securities system. The Team This team is responsible for the ensuring the integrity of the accounting information received from the Investment Operations securities system. This team will be highly focused on the control environment supporting this purpose. To this end, the team will work closely with its critical partner, Investment Operations. The team will look to leverage technology and resource opportunities to ensure and efficient and effective approach to maintaining these processes. Head of Investment Accounting Systems Governance will lead and inspire the team to continue progressing the operations model and function. The Impact Reporting to MassMutual's Head of Investment Controllership, Head of Investment Accounting Governance will be a member of the Investment Controllership leadership team and a key partner and representative to the operational accounting impacts of the investment operations processes. Against the backdrop of an increasingly complex general investment account portfolio with diverse asset classes and strategies, this role will build a framework and lead a vision that provides for the effective controls of operational securities accounting. - Lead the team responsible for ensuring effective controls related to the securities operational accounting, including execution of daily and monthly reconciliations, analysis of data exceptions, and support of system upgrades - Maintaining control processes and assess improvements by evaluating the end to end impacts to operational securities accounting - Partner with teams, including but not limited to Securities Controllership. Investment Operations, Treasury, Financial Reporting and ERM - Ensure the integrity of investment income reporting across periods while owning the calculation and recording of known P&L exposures - Maintain workflows and operational securities accounting controls - Partner with stakeholders to meet client needs - Oversee the effectiveness of the broader control environment for the insurance company GIA - Oversight of external audits on behalf of Investment Controllership - Oversight of UAT testing on key external vendor system upgrades - Expected Leadership Behaviors: - Create structures and processes that are routine in nature and highly scalable - Value and support associates, fostering a culture of development and growth - Encourage feedback and accountability - Promote partnership - Excel at attracting, developing and retaining a diverse team of talented individuals, and effectively leveraging outsourcing models for the most efficient approach on executing on the team's mandate The Minimum Qualifications - 10+ years of progressive accounting, investment accounting, investment controllership, or financial reporting experience within insurance, asset management, banking, or financial services. - Demonstrated expertise in U.S. GAAP investment accounting and financial reporting. - Proven experience designing, implementing, and enhancing internal controls, governance frameworks, and operational accounting processes in a highly regulated environment. - Direct experience supporting a large and complex investment portfolio, including partnership with Investment Operations and other front-to-back investment functions. - Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related discipline The Ideal Qualifications - Knowledge and experience of investments is highly desired - Strong analytical skills: ability to analyze financial data sets and tell the story of the data - Proven ability to complete high quality work efficiently and increase autonomy over time - Experience in creating and developing teams - Experience effectively leveraging outsourcing and offshoring arrangements - Able to build and maintain strong working relationships across cross-functional groups - Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to express ideas in and articulate in an organized and persuasive manner to leadership, staff, regulatory bodies, etc. - Intellectual curiosity to continue learning and adding breadth and depth to understanding - CPA What You Can Expect at MassMutual MassMutual offers the opportunity to do meaningful work within a purpose-driven organization that values long-term impact over short-term outcomes.
