    Job Description

We are working with a large international business that is looking to appoint a Senior Treasury Analyst to join its established finance function.

This is a broad treasury position with exposure to a wide range of activities, including cash management, forecasting, FX, funding, banking relationships, reporting and treasury systems. The role would suit an experienced treasury professional who enjoys working across different areas of the function and is comfortable dealing with stakeholders across a multinational organisation.

    The Role

Reporting into the wider treasury function, you will play an important role in managing the organisation's day-to-day treasury activities and supporting longer-term financial planning.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Managing daily liquidity across the business, reviewing cash balances and ensuring funds are available where and when they are required.

    • Preparing and reviewing cash flow forecasts, working with colleagues across finance and the wider business to understand expected receipts, payments and funding requirements.

    • Monitoring foreign currency exposures and supporting the execution of FX transactions and hedging activity in accordance with the group's risk management approach.

    • Supporting the management of external funding, including debt facilities, financing arrangements and ongoing monitoring of relevant terms and covenants.

    • Overseeing surplus cash and short-term investments, ensuring funds are managed appropriately within agreed treasury policies and risk parameters.

    • Producing treasury information for management, including regular cash, liquidity, FX and funding analysis, highlighting movements, risks and areas requiring attention.

    • Working closely with relationship banks, dealing with day-to-day queries while also helping to improve banking arrangements, services and commercial terms.

    • Taking ownership of treasury system administration, ensuring information remains accurate and reliable and that the system continues to support the needs of the treasury team.

    • Helping develop treasury technology and automation, identifying ways to reduce manual processes, improve reporting and make better use of available systems and data.

    • Maintaining appropriate treasury controls and procedures, ensuring activities are carried out in line with internal policies and supporting audit activity when required.

    • Contributing to wider treasury projects and process improvements, particularly where there are opportunities to improve efficiency, visibility or risk management.

    What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who already has a solid grounding in treasury and is keen to develop their career within a sizeable international organisation.

    You will ideally bring:

    • Several years' experience within a corporate treasury, banking or closely related financial environment.

    • Practical experience across areas such as cash management, liquidity, cash forecasting and FX.

    • An understanding of debt, investments and broader financial risk management.

    • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data and treasury systems.

    • Experience working with a Treasury Management System would be advantageous.

    • The ability to analyse financial information, identify issues and communicate findings clearly.

    • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.

    • Confidence dealing with internal stakeholders and external banking partners.

    • A proactive approach to identifying improvements to processes, controls and systems.

    • Experience of working within a multinational, multi-entity or otherwise complex organisation would be beneficial.

    • A degree or equivalent qualification in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related subject.

    • A professional treasury or accountancy qualification, such as ACT, ACA, ACCA or CFA, would be advantageous.

    Why This Role?

The position offers the chance to work across a wide remit of treasury activities rather than focusing on a single specialist area. You will gain exposure to cash, liquidity, FX, funding, banking, systems and reporting, while working alongside experienced finance professionals within a substantial international business.

It is an opportunity for a treasury professional who wants a varied role, meaningful stakeholder exposure and the chance to contribute to the ongoing development of the treasury function.
