Location: Whitchurch, Bristol area - within easy reach of Bristol and Bath

Salary: £40000 - £60000

Working Pattern: Office-based, but with a 12.45 finish every Friday

This is an opportunity to join an established, independently owned Chartered financial planning firm that values technical excellence, bespoke advice and long-term client relationships.

Following an internal promotion, the business is looking for a technically strong Senior Paraplanner to play a key role in supporting Advisers, reviewing complex cases and maintaining high standards of advice across the firm.

This is a career Paraplanning opportunity, not a route into advice. If you enjoy the technical detail and take pride in producing high-quality work, this could be an excellent next step.

You'll provide high-level Paraplanning support across a broad range of financial planning areas, with a particular focus on complex cases, technical research and maintaining the quality of advice.

• Monday to Thursday: 8:45am - 5:00pm, with a 30-minute lunch break

• Friday: 8:45am - 12:45pm

What They're Looking For

• Fully Diploma-qualified as a minimum , with extensive Paraplanning experience in an independent financial planning environment

• Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, taxation and estate planning

• Experience researching and interpreting complex legislation and applying it to client circumstances

• Excellent analytical skills, numerical ability and attention to detail

• Strong report-writing skills and the ability to produce high-quality suitability reports

• Confidence managing competing priorities and working independently

• A proactive approach, with the ability to act as a trusted technical resource for colleagues A Pension Transfer Specialist qualification , such as G60, AF3 or AF7, would be highly desirable.

Please note: The office is based in a picturesque village, with independent shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants nearby. It's an appealing alternative to a city-centre commute, with Bristol and Bath both within easy reach. Due to the location of the role, access to a car is essential.
