Loan Servicing Specialist

Civista Bank is seeking a Loan Servicing Specialist to support the lifecycle of consumer and commercial loans in a community-focused banking environment. In this role, you will process new loan setups, payments, payoffs, escrow and insurance updates, and account maintenance with strong attention to detail and regulatory accuracy. You will research and resolve customer and branch inquiries, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure data integrity across core banking systems. Working closely with lending and operations teams, you will help maintain compliant, timely, and customer-centered servicing that supports Civista's relationship-driven approach and community mission.

Responsibilities

• Process new loan boarding, maintenance, payments, and payoffs accurately and on time

• Manage escrow accounts, including taxes, insurance, and escrow analyses

• Update loan terms, collateral, and customer information in core banking systems

• Research and resolve customer, branch, and internal servicing inquiries

• Reconcile servicing discrepancies and perform account balancing and reporting

• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, loan policies, and servicing procedures

• Monitor delinquencies, fees, and rate changes and apply according to guidelines

• Coordinate with lending, operations, and customer service teams to support customers

• Maintain thorough documentation and electronic records for audits and reviews
