Accountant - Semi-Senior to Senior Level

We are recruiting a job opportunity for an Accountant to join a well-established accountancy firm based in Lutterworth. The firm is open to applicants ranging from Semi-Senior through to Senior / Supervisor level , depending on experience and qualifications.

The salary is fully negotiable and will be set in line with the successful candidate s experience and qualification level. Candidates at any stage of their accountancy career are encouraged to apply, as the role and responsibilities can be tailored accordingly.

Responsibilities:

The roles really can be designed around the individual, but the Accountant position will focus on year-end accounts preparation, bookkeeping / VAT and client contact.

The responsibility and seniority level of the job can be tweaked to suit the successful applicant.

• Prepare and analyse financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure timely submission to regulatory bodies.

• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.

• Manage client accounts, addressing queries and providing financial advice as needed.

• Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes for clients.

• Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely in the accounting software.

• Collaborate with team members on various projects and initiatives to improve processes and efficiency.

• Stay updated on changes in tax regulations and accounting standards to ensure compliance.
