    Description: Reports To Assistant Manager of Test Engineering Location: Huntsville, AL POSITION SUMMARY: The Test Engineer II serves as a key contributor within the Test Engineering Team at the Huntsville Factory. This role is responsible for supporting, developing, and enhancing test software, hardware, and automation infrastructure, including the use of Python, C#, and MySQL-based solutions to improve test automation, data acquisition, analysis, reporting, and system performance. The Test Engineer II independently executes mid-level engineering projects while mentoring junior engineers and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Develop, improve, and maintain test software and hardware systems. - Support ICT and EOLT system implementation and upgrades - Develop and maintain automation scripts, test applications, and data analysis tools using Python and C# to improve test efficiency, data collection, reporting, and process control. - Design, maintain, and support MySQL databases used for test data storage, retrieval, analysis, and reporting. - Perform in-depth root cause analysis of test failures and implement corrective actions. - Read and interpret electrical schematics and debug PCBs to the component level. - Lead small-scale improvement projects and collaborate cross-functionally - Maintain and repair test fixtures and equipment to ensure uptime and accuracy. - Contribute ideas to improve processes and system performance.
