A growing accountancy practice is looking for a client-focused Tax Consultant to join its expanding Advisory team. You'll work with a varied portfolio of individuals, SMEs and larger corporate clients, providing practical and commercially focused tax advice tailored to their circumstances.

What will you be doing?

• Providing high-quality tax advice to a diverse client portfolio

• Understanding each client's objectives and developing bespoke solutions

• Building long-term relationships with individuals and business owners

• Identifying tax planning opportunities and explaining them clearly to clients

• Keeping clients informed about relevant legislative changes

• Working with accounts and audit teams to provide joined-up commercial advice

• Supporting colleagues with technical queries and knowledge sharing

• Contributing to the continued development of the Advisory team

What are we looking for?

Ideally, you will:

• Have previous tax advisory experience

• Have worked within an accountancy practice

• Be commercially aware and comfortable dealing directly with clients

• Communicate complex tax matters clearly and confidently

• Be proactive, collaborative and keen to continue developing technically
