Senior Budgeting & Financial Planning Analyst - Nonprofit

MCC seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to strengthen stewardship of global relief, development, and peacebuilding resources. This role leads budgeting, forecasting, and multi-year financial modeling for international programs, providing clear analysis to senior leaders and program directors. The analyst prepares timely reports for internal stakeholders and donors, supports grant and fund accounting, and improves tools, dashboards, and processes. The role collaborates across cultures and departments, grounding financial decisions in MCC's Christian Anabaptist values of peace, justice, and service to vulnerable communities worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual and multi-year budgeting and forecasting for MCC's global programs and departments.

• Conduct financial analysis, modeling, and scenario planning to inform strategic and program decisions.

• Prepare accurate, timely financial reports and dashboards for leadership, boards, and donors.

• Support grant and fund accounting, ensuring compliance with donor, regulatory, and MCC policies.

• Monitor variances, investigate drivers, and recommend corrective actions and stewardship improvements.

• Strengthen financial controls, processes, and tools across international and cross-cultural teams.

• Collaborate with program leaders to align budgets with mission, impact goals, and risk considerations.

• Translate complex financial information into clear, mission-focused insights for non-financial stakeholders.
