About You We're looking for a commercially minded sales professional with a proven track record in Business Development, Sales or Account Management , ideally within the food, drink or manufacturing industry. You will ideally have: - 2+ years' experience in Sales or Business Development. - Experience within the food, drink, FMCG or manufacturing sector is highly desirable. - Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills. - Strong commercial awareness and analytical ability. - Proven experience of developing and influencing customer relationships. - A proactive and self-motivated approach. - Excellent organisation and time-management skills. - Experience planning and managing customer/field visits. - A strong understanding of sales pipelines and CRM systems. - A customer-first approach combined with a strong commercial focus. - The ability to work collaboratively as part of a wider team. - Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally. The Opportunity We are looking for a highly driven and technically confident National Sales Manager to lead UK-wide business development across the water and wastewater sector. This is a pivotal, client-facing role where you will generate new business, manage key accounts and grow revenue by selling bespoke engineered water treatment solutions. You will work directly with UK Water Companies, Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors and key industry suppliers, positioning as a trusted partner for infrastructure projects throughout AMP8 and beyond. Desirable Experience - A degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business or a related technical discipline. - Direct experience working with or selling into AMP8 framework agreements. - Familiarity with NEC, JCT or other standard forms of contract, plus experience of tendering for major infrastructure projects. - Experience using CRM software for pipeline management and forecasting.
