Recruiter

KARM Stores is seeking a Recruiter to support our Christ-centered mission by attracting and hiring talent for our retail thrift locations. The Recruiter will manage full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing candidates, screening applications, conducting interviews, coordinating hiring events, and partnering with store leaders to understand staffing needs. This role will maintain ATS records, post job ads, and help improve hiring processes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, people-focused, and passionate about supporting a ministry that serves individuals experiencing homelessness in East Tennessee.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for retail thrift roles across multiple locations

• Source, screen, and interview candidates aligned with KARM's mission and values

• Post and maintain job listings across job boards, social media, and local networks

• Coordinate interviews, hiring events, and onboarding activities with store leaders

• Maintain accurate candidate records and workflows in the applicant tracking system

• Partner with managers to forecast staffing needs and hiring priorities

• Support development of recruitment strategies for hourly and entry-level roles

• Communicate clearly with candidates, providing timely updates and next steps

• Promote KARM Stores' culture and ministry throughout the hiring process
