Payroll Assistant

CMA Recruitment Group is delighted to be supporting our Weymouth, Dorset client who is currently in need of a Payroll Assistant to join their team.

As Payroll Assistant you will be supporting in the day-to-day processing of weekly and monthly payroll ensuring all employees details are up to date. You will be working closely with the Payroll Manager and in a small team of payroll specialists.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-known local business, to be a fundamental part of their close-knit finance team.

What will the Payroll Assistant role involve?

• Collate weekly and monthly payroll data from attendance systems

• Amend overtime and shift patterns on payroll

• Calculate complex elements of the payroll accurately

• PAYE, SSP, SMP calculations

• Up to date with all payroll legislation and HMRC processes

• Payroll reports for management meetings Suitable Candidate for the Payroll Assistant vacancy:

• Experience working in a similar position, with good understanding of collating payroll

• Experience working to strict deadlines
