Manager, General Accounting

CF Industries seeks a Manager, General Accounting to lead our general ledger and close processes in a fast-paced technology-driven environment. You will oversee daily accounting operations, manage month-end and year-end close, and ensure accurate, GAAP-compliant financial reporting. Partnering closely with FP&A and cross-functional teams, you'll provide insightful analyses, strengthen internal controls, and drive process improvements and automation. You will supervise and develop a small accounting team, contributing to a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily general accounting operations and GL integrity for CF Industries

• Manage month-end and year-end close, ensuring timely, accurate financial statements

• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses

• Maintain and strengthen internal controls and accounting policies

• Collaborate with FP&A, operations, and leadership on financial insights

• Support audits by providing schedules, documentation, and responses

• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff

• Drive process improvements and automation within ERP and reporting tools

• Ensure compliance with GAAP and relevant corporate policies

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and special finance projects as needed Required Skills
