Lead Retail Sales Supervisor

Dollar General is seeking a Lead Sales Associate to support Retail Operations in a high-volume, customer-focused environment. In this on-site role, you will lead daily store activities, serve as a key-holder, and model exceptional service while driving sales and maintaining merchandising standards. You will train and coach associates, ensure accurate cash handling, and uphold loss prevention and safety procedures. Collaborating closely with store leadership, you'll help execute company initiatives and create a clean, organized, and welcoming shopping experience for every customer.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily store operations to deliver excellent customer service and meet sales goals

• Serve as key-holder; open and close the store following company procedures

• Train, coach, and mentor sales associates on products, service, and selling techniques

• Drive merchandising standards, inventory recovery, and planogram execution

• Monitor cash handling, POS accuracy, and loss prevention compliance

• Analyze sales trends and provide input on promotions and product placement

• Resolve customer issues professionally to maintain brand reputation

• Support scheduling, task delegation, and performance feedback for associates

• Ensure store cleanliness, safety, and adherence to company policies

• Partner with management to execute company initiatives and operational improvements Required Skills
