IT Manager Client Engineering and Endpoint Platforms

American Honda Motor Co., Inc. seeks an IT Manager, Client Engineering and Endpoint Platforms to lead the strategy, design, and operation of end-user computing across our U.S. operations. You will manage a team responsible for endpoint standards, imaging, configuration, security, and lifecycle management for Windows, macOS, and mobile devices, as well as collaboration and productivity platforms. Partnering with manufacturing, R&D, and corporate stakeholders, you will drive reliability, security, and user experience while advancing automation, zero-touch deployment, and continuous improvement in a highly collaborative, innovation-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, design, and roadmap for client engineering and endpoint platforms

• Manage team responsible for endpoint configuration, deployment, and lifecycle management

• Oversee security, compliance, and patch management for all endpoints

• Own collaboration and productivity platform standards in partnership with stakeholders

• Drive automation, zero-touch deployment, and continuous improvement initiatives

• Align endpoint and workplace technology solutions with business and manufacturing needs

• Develop and monitor SLAs, KPIs, and reliability targets for end-user services

• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and tool selection for endpoint technologies

• Collaborate with security, networking, and infrastructure teams on integrated solutions

• Develop staff through coaching, mentoring, and knowledge sharing Required Skills
