HR Business Partner (3-Month Fixed-Term Contract)

We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join a well-established organisation based in North Oxford on an initial 3-month fixed-term contract . This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who can quickly build credibility, provide pragmatic HR advice, and make an immediate impact.

The Role

Reporting into the HR leadership team, you will provide expert HR support across a broad range of people matters, with a particular focus on Employee Relations .

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing a varied and complex ER caseload, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management and performance-related matters

• Providing practical, commercially focused advice and guidance to managers

• Supporting organisational change initiatives where required

• Coaching and upskilling managers on people management best practice

• Ensuring HR policies and processes are applied consistently and in line with employment legislation

• Supporting wider HR projects and operational activity as required To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience operating at HR Business Partner level

• Strong and up-to-date Employee Relations knowledge

• Confidence managing complex and sensitive casework independently

• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills

• A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach

• The ability to hit the ground running with minimal supervision

• CIPD qualification (desirable) What's on Offer?
