Human Resources Manager

Sky Chefs is seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations in our fast-paced airline catering facility. This role manages recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance programs for kitchen, logistics, and administrative teams. You will ensure compliance with labor and safety regulations, oversee HR policies, and maintain accurate HRIS data. Partnering closely with operations leaders, you'll drive engagement, training, and retention initiatives that support a safety-first, service-oriented culture and help deliver consistent, high-quality inflight service to airline customers worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end HR operations for a high-volume inflight catering facility, ensuring compliance with labor laws, safety and aviation standards

• Manage full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning for kitchen, logistics, and administrative roles

• Oversee employee relations, investigations, performance management, and corrective actions in a union and non-union environment

• Implement HR policies, HRIS data integrity, and reporting to support operational efficiency and headcount control

• Coordinate training, safety, and compliance programs in partnership with operations and safety leaders

• Administer compensation, benefits, leave programs, and support annual review and merit processes

• Partner with site leadership to drive engagement, retention, and culture-building initiatives aligned with company values

• Support change management, organizational development, and continuous improvement of HR processes Required Skills
