HR Generalist

Lad Lake Inc, a dedicated nonprofit organization focused on providing guidance and support to at-risk youth, is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team. In this role, you will be instrumental in fostering an environment where both staff and clients thrive through effective HR practices. Your work will directly contribute to our mission of empowering vulnerable groups by ensuring our team is supported and well-equipped to make a profound impact.

Responsibilities

• Administer employee benefits, programs, and initiatives.

• Assist in talent acquisition, recruitment processes, and workforce planning.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and organizational policies.

• Provide support and guidance to staff concerning HR policies and procedures.

• Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives.

• Participate in developing organizational guidelines and procedures.

• Recommend strategies to motivate employees and promote a healthy work environment.

• Handle conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations.

Required Skills

• Proficient in HRMS software (e.g., Bamboo

• HR, Gusto)

• Excellent understanding of employment-related laws and regulations

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Experience with employee development and performance management

• Ability to handle data with confidentiality
