    Job Description

    HR Administrator

    Location: DN3, Doncaster Salary: £31,000 per annum Hours: 8:30am 5:00pm, Monday to Friday Contract: Full-time, permanent

    The Role

    We are recruiting an experienced HR Advisor to join an established organisation based in the DN3 area of Doncaster. This is a varied, hands-on position supporting managers and employees across the full employee lifecycle.

    You will provide practical HR advice, manage employee-relations cases and help ensure policies and procedures are applied consistently. The successful candidate must hold a minimum CIPD Level 3 qualification and have previous experience within a generalist HR position.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide professional HR guidance to managers and employees.

    • Manage employee-relations cases, including absence, performance, disciplinary and grievance matters.

    • Support managers with investigations, meetings and formal HR processes.

    • Produce accurate letters, meeting notes and supporting documentation.

    • Assist with recruitment, interviews, offers and onboarding.

    • Coordinate probation reviews and employee development processes.

    • Maintain accurate employee records and update HR systems.

    • Monitor sickness absence, holidays and other workforce information.

    • Support policy development and ensure procedures are followed consistently.

    • Provide advice in line with current UK employment legislation.

    • Assist with employee engagement, retention and wellbeing initiatives.

    • Prepare HR reports and identify workforce trends.

    • Liaise with payroll regarding employee changes when required.

    • Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.

    Requirements

    • CIPD Level 3 qualification would be preferred but HR experience without will be considered

    • Previous experience as an HR Advisor or within a similar generalist HR role.

    • Practical employee-relations and case-management experience.

    • Good understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.

    • Confident advising and supporting managers.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • Strong organisation and attention to detail.

    • Able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

    • Comfortable handling sensitive matters professionally and confidentially.

    • Competent using Microsoft Office and HR systems.

    The Package

    • £31,000 annual salary.
