Interim Financial Controller

• Annual Salary: Circa £65,000 Pro Rata (£250-£300 per day)

• Location: Redhill, Surrey

• Job Type: Hybrid (3-6 Month Fixed-Term Contract / Interim Assignment) A well-established organisation in Redhill is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join their finance team on an interim basis for an initial period of 3-6 months. This hands-on role is ideal for a qualified finance professional who can quickly integrate into the business, provide stability to the finance function, and support senior stakeholders during a busy period of change. With a hybrid working pattern, this opportunity is perfect for someone available at short notice or immediately.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Oversee the day-to-day finance function and manage a small team.

• Prepare monthly management accounts and board reporting packs.

• Lead month-end and year-end processes.

• Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital reporting.

• Review and improve financial controls and processes.

• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.

• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

• Business partner with senior leadership and operational managers.

• Liaise with external auditors and relevant third parties.

• Provide financial analysis to support key business decisions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified.

• Previous experience operating at Financial Controller level.

• Strong technical accounting knowledge.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

• Able to quickly understand processes and identify improvements.

• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

• Available to start within a short notice period.
