Financial Controller

Finance Manager / Financial Controller - Near Leighton Buzzard - Up to 80k depending on experience

Jacob Grey have just partnered with a growing manufacturing business to appoint a new FC to lead their day to day finance operations.

Reporting to the joint Managing Directors (one of whom is also the CFO) your duties will include:

• Hands on preparation of the monthly Management Accounts including Balancesheet Recs, P&L production, Accruals, Prepayments and Journals
• Presenting the Management Accounts to the Senior Leadership Team with analysis and commentary
• Year End production
• Overseeing VAT submissions
• Managing and developing a small team of transactional staff
• Budget setting
• Cashflow forecasting
• Potentially acting a business partner to the senior leadership team, offering sound commercial advice based on insightful analysis

The ideal candidate will either be a Qualified Accountant, already used to performing a leadership role OR a finalist/newly Qualified Accountant who can grow into this role (the CFO will offer training and development, and the salary will naturally be adjusted accordingly).
