Cost Accountant - Manufacturing
Job Description
PCT - Pacific Cast Technologies, part of PCC Structurals, seeks a Staff Accountant to support our manufacturing operations. This role handles general ledger accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, cost tracking, and variance analysis for a high-precision metal casting environment. Partner with operations to support budgeting, forecasting, and monthly close while ensuring GAAP compliance and strong internal controls. You'll work in a safety-focused, process-driven culture with opportunities to learn advanced manufacturing finance and grow within a global aerospace and industrial leader.
Responsibilities

Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger for manufacturing operations

Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances

Support month-end and year-end close, ensuring accurate and timely reporting

Assist with cost accounting, inventory valuation, and production variance analysis

Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling for plant operations

Maintain and improve internal controls and compliance with GAAPCollaborate with operations and finance teams to analyze performance metrics

Prepare standard and ad hoc financial reports for management

Leverage ERP and Excel to streamline accounting processes

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and special projects as assigned Required Skills
