Commercial Auto Bodily Injury Adjuster

Midwest Family Mutual Insurance Company seeks a Commercial Auto Bodily Injury Adjuster to manage complex injury claims in our Insurance division. You will investigate coverage, assess liability, analyze medical records, and negotiate fair settlements on commercial auto bodily injury claims. Partnering with insureds, claimants, attorneys, and internal teams, you'll ensure timely, accurate claim resolution, proper reserving, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities

• Investigate commercial auto bodily injury claims from first notice through resolution

• Evaluate coverage, liability, and damages, including complex injury and medical issues

• Review police reports, statements, and medical records to determine exposure and claim value

• Set and maintain accurate reserves in line with company and regulatory standards

• Negotiate settlements with claimants, attorneys, and representatives within authority limits

• Manage litigated claims in partnership with defense counsel and monitor litigation strategy

• Document all claim activity clearly and timely in the claims management system

• Communicate with policyholders, agents, and internal partners to provide status and guidance

• Ensure compliance with state regulations, company policies, and best practices
