Bank Loan Servicing Manager

Availa Bank is seeking a Bank Loan Servicing Manager to lead daily servicing operations for consumer, commercial, and mortgage loans. You will supervise a small team, ensure accurate payment processing, escrow management, payoffs, and maintenance of loan records within regulatory and bank policy guidelines. The role includes monitoring portfolio quality, resolving complex customer issues, supporting auditors and examiners, and driving process improvements. You'll partner closely with lenders and branch teams to deliver responsive, relationship-based service that supports Availa's community-focused mission across its Iowa markets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily loan servicing operations for consumer, commercial, and mortgage portfolios

• Supervise, coach, and schedule loan servicing staff to meet service and accuracy standards

• Ensure accurate payment posting, escrow management, payoffs, and loan maintenance

• Maintain compliance with banking regulations, loan policies, and internal controls

• Resolve complex customer and branch servicing issues with a relationship-based approach

• Collaborate with lenders and branches to support new loan boarding and changes

• Prepare and review servicing reports, reconciliations, and portfolio metrics

• Support internal/external audits and regulatory exams with required documentation

• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities
