Bank Loan Servicing Manager

Availa Bank is seeking a Bank Loan Servicing Manager to lead day-to-day servicing of consumer and commercial loans. In this role, you'll oversee the loan servicing team, ensure accurate loan setup, payment processing, escrow management, and maintenance of loan files in accordance with banking regulations and internal policies. You will monitor portfolio quality, reconcile accounts, resolve complex customer issues, and support auditors and examiners. As part of our community-focused culture, you'll collaborate with branch and lending teams, drive process improvements, coach staff, and help deliver responsive, relationship-based service to our Iowa communities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the loan servicing team for consumer and commercial loans.

• Oversee loan setup, payment processing, escrow administration, and account maintenance.

• Ensure accuracy of loan records and compliance with banking regulations and internal policies.

• Monitor loan portfolio quality, reconcile accounts, and resolve complex servicing issues.

• Collaborate with lenders, branches, and operations to support community-focused service.

• Prepare and provide reports, documentation, and responses for audits and regulatory exams.

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer experience.

• Train, coach, and develop staff to maintain high performance and service standards.

• Handle escalated customer inquiries and provide relationship-based problem resolution.

• Support projects related to new loan products, system upgrades, and policy updates.
