AV Technician
Job Description
Inter Technologies Corporation seeks an AV Technician in Charlotte to install, configure, and support professional audio-visual, broadcast, and unified communications systems. Working with a specialized, client-focused team, you'll assist in end-to-end project delivery-from cable pulls, terminations, and rack builds to testing, troubleshooting, and final commissioning. You'll interpret system drawings, optimize performance, and provide on-site client training. This role offers hands-on experience with cutting-edge technology, clear standards, and strong opportunities to grow both technical and customer-facing skills in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities

Install, configure, and test audio-visual systems for corporate, education, and government clients

Support end-to-end AV project delivery from site prep through final commissioning

Troubleshoot and resolve AV, broadcast, and unified communications issues on-site and remotely

Read and interpret system drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment layouts

Perform cable pulls, terminations, equipment rack builds, and system optimization

Collaborate with engineers and project managers to implement system designs

Provide on-site client training, demonstrations, and basic documentation

Maintain tools, test equipment, and inventory in an organized, safe manner

Follow company standards, safety protocols, and industry best practices
