ACE Technical Sales

Johnson Controls is hiring an ACE Technical Sales professional to drive growth of smart, sustainable building solutions for manufacturing customers. In this role, you'll combine consultative selling with deep technical understanding of HVAC, controls, and building automation systems. You will qualify opportunities, design solutions with engineering teams, develop proposals, and lead technical presentations to plant leaders and facility engineers. Collaborate across global teams, support commissioning, and help shape innovative solutions that improve safety, comfort, and efficiency in industrial facilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute technical sales strategies for Johnson Controls building products and solutions in the manufacturing sector

• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to design tailored HVAC, controls, and building automation solutions for customer needs

• Deliver technical presentations, system demos, and ROI analyses to facility managers, plant engineers, and executive stakeholders

• Prepare accurate proposals, estimates, and bids, ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements

• Manage the sales cycle from lead qualification through close, maintaining healthy pipeline and accurate CRM records

• Support commissioning and post-sale activities by coordinating with project management and service teams

• Gather customer feedback and market insights to influence product roadmaps and sales strategies

• Train and support channel partners and internal teams on product capabilities and application best practices Required Skills
