Territory Sales Manager - Surgical Pain Medical Devices

Avanos Medical seeks a Territory Manager, Surgical Pain to drive sales growth for our advanced pain management solutions across acute and chronic care settings. In this role, you will educate surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff on clinical benefits, conduct product demos, and support trials and conversions. You will manage the full sales cycle, develop territory plans, and build strong relationships with hospital decision-makers. Collaborating closely with clinical, marketing, and support teams, you'll leverage data, training, and consultative selling to improve patient outcomes and help hospitals reduce costs while expanding Avanos' regional market presence.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow sales for surgical pain solutions within an assigned territory

• Develop and execute territory business plans and account strategies

• Conduct clinical product demonstrations, in-servicing, and OR/ASC staff training

• Build and maintain relationships with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and key hospital stakeholders

• Manage full sales cycle from prospecting through closing and post-sale support

• Use CRM tools to track pipeline, forecast accurately, and report on territory performance

• Coordinate with clinical specialists, marketing, and customer service to support trials and implementations

• Monitor competitive activity and market trends to identify new opportunities

• Support hospital evaluations, trials, and formulary/contract wins

• Ensure compliance with company policies and healthcare regulations in all activities Required Skills
