Telecommunications Order Processing Specialist

Covista seeks a detail-oriented Processing Specialist to support our telecommunications operations. In this role, you will accurately process customer orders, service changes, ports, and billing updates for voice and data solutions. You will verify data across multiple systems, troubleshoot discrepancies, and coordinate with service, billing, and technical support teams to ensure timely, error-free activation. The Processing Specialist documents activities, follows defined workflows, and meets quality and productivity targets while providing clear, professional communication to internal teams and business customers in a fast-paced, service-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders, service changes, and account updates accurately and on time

• Validate and enter customer and service data across multiple systems and tools

• Monitor order status and follow up to ensure timely completion and activation

• Identify and resolve data discrepancies, coordinating with internal teams as needed

• Collaborate with customer service, billing, and technical support to resolve issues

• Maintain detailed documentation of processing activities and changes

• Follow established workflows, SLAs, and quality standards for telecom services

• Generate and review reports to track work queues, errors, and completion rates

• Handle basic customer and internal inquiries regarding order and account status
