Tax Preparer

Intrua Financial, LLC, a Houston-based wealth management and financial advisory firm, is seeking a Tax Preparer to support our clients' complex financial needs. In this role, you will prepare and review individual and small business tax returns, analyze financial data, and deliver proactive tax planning strategies in coordination with our advisory team. You will research tax issues, maintain detailed workpapers, and communicate directly with clients to gather information and explain results. Responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual, trust, and small business tax returns for wealth management clients.

• Analyze client financial data to identify tax-saving opportunities and planning strategies.

• Collaborate with advisors to integrate tax insights into comprehensive financial plans.

• Research federal and state tax issues and document conclusions for complex situations.

• Maintain accurate workpapers, documentation, and electronic files in accordance with firm standards.

• Communicate with clients to gather information, clarify questions, and explain tax outcomes.

• Assist in year-round tax planning, projections, and estimated tax calculations.

• Monitor tax law changes and contribute insights to internal training or client education.

• Ensure compliance with firm quality controls, deadlines, and regulatory requirements.

• Support process improvements and adoption of new tools to enhance tax workflow efficiency.
