Systems Engineer

Viable Engineering Solutions LLC seeks a Systems Engineer to design and support mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems for commercial, institutional, and industrial projects. In this role, you will develop HVAC, lighting, and power system layouts; perform engineering calculations; and prepare coordinated drawings and specifications using Revit and AutoCAD. You will collaborate closely with senior engineers, architects, and contractors to deliver efficient, practical, and cost-effective solutions. This position offers end-to-end project exposure, direct client interaction, mentorship, and clear growth paths into technical or project leadership in a collaborative, client-focused culture.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) building systems for commercial, institutional, and industrial projects.

• Develop HVAC, lighting, and power system layouts, calculations, and equipment selections.

• Produce coordinated construction drawings and specifications using Revit and Auto

• CAD.

• Ensure designs meet applicable codes, standards, and energy efficiency goals.

• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other consultants to resolve design and coordination issues.

• Support site visits, field investigations, and construction administration as needed.

• Communicate clearly with clients and project stakeholders on design intent and technical issues.

• Participate in internal design reviews, quality checks, and continuous improvement efforts.

• Assist senior engineers with end-to-end project delivery and documentation.

• Contribute to a collaborative, mentorship-focused culture and develop toward technical or project leadership roles.
