Systems Admin

Iowa Bankers Insurance & Services, Inc. seeks a Systems Admin to support secure, reliable infrastructure for our insurance and benefits operations. You'll manage Windows and virtual servers, Active Directory, backups, and endpoint security while monitoring performance and resolving incidents. Partner with business and compliance teams to meet regulatory and cybersecurity standards. This role involves user support, patching, and documentation, plus planning upgrades and improvements. Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows, Linux, and virtual server infrastructure for insurance and banking systems.

• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, user accounts, and access controls to uphold security and compliance.

• Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity, resolving incidents and performance issues.

• Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and patch management processes.

• Harden systems, apply security controls, and collaborate with compliance on regulatory requirements.

• Support end users and application teams with troubleshooting and technical requests.

• Document configurations, procedures, and change management activities.

• Plan and assist with system upgrades, migrations, and new technology implementations.
