Shared Services Accounting Specialist - Hospitality Finance

As a Shared Services Specialist at SSP in our Finance, Accounting & Administration team, you will support centralized finance operations for our hospitality and travel business. You'll process high-volume invoices, payments, and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. Working in a collaborative, innovative culture aligned with Smiths Detection's focus on safety and security, you'll help standardize processes, leverage modern finance systems, and contribute to continuous improvement across our global operations.

Responsibilities

• Process high-volume AP/AR transactions accurately and on time

• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies with internal teams and vendors

• Support month-end close and prepare standard financial reports

• Maintain finance data integrity within ERP and shared services tools

• Document and improve shared services processes and controls

• Respond to finance inquiries from hospitality and travel locations

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support audits and compliance

• Contribute to continuous improvement and automation initiatives Required Skills
