Senior Accounts Payable Manager

Erie Home is seeking a Senior Manager Accounts Payable to lead our AP function supporting nationwide roofing and exterior remodeling operations. This role oversees invoice processing, vendor payments, and expense controls, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely disbursements. You will manage and develop the AP team, optimize systems and workflows, partner with operations and procurement, support month-end close, and drive process improvements that enhance cash flow, reporting, and financial controls in a fast-growing construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounts payable operations for multi-location construction projects

• Manage, coach, and develop AP team members for high performance

• Oversee invoice intake, coding, approvals, and timely payment processing

• Maintain strong vendor relationships and resolve payment discrepancies

• Ensure accurate 3-way matching, PO compliance, and expense controls

• Support month-end close, reconciliations, and AP-related reporting

• Implement and monitor internal controls, policies, and compliance standards

• Partner with operations and procurement to align AP with field needs

• Drive process improvements and automation to increase AP efficiency

• Support cash flow forecasting and payment timing strategies with finance leadership Required Skills
