Seasonal Retail Associate

Music & Arts, a leading national music retailer and lesson provider, is seeking a Seasonal Retail Associate to support our busy store. In this role, you'll welcome students, parents, and educators, helping them find the right band and orchestra instruments, rentals, repairs, and accessories. You'll operate the POS, process sales and rentals, maintain displays, and assist with inventory tasks. Working in a collaborative, student-focused environment, you'll support music education in your community while gaining hands-on retail and customer service experience during peak seasonal periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with instrument, rental, and accessory selections

• Operate POS system, process sales, rentals, returns, and payments accurately

• Maintain merchandise displays, signage, and a clean, organized sales floor

• Support inventory tasks including stocking, tagging, and cycle counts

• Explain basic product features and current promotions to customers

• Coordinate with lesson, repair, and school service teams as needed

• Handle customer inquiries and resolve basic issues or escalate appropriately

• Support opening, closing, and seasonal merchandising activities Required Skills
