Seasonal Retail Associate

Music & Arts is seeking a Seasonal Retail Associate to support our busy store during peak seasons. In this role, you'll welcome students, parents, and educators, guide them in selecting instruments, rentals, and accessories, and provide friendly, knowledgeable service at the register. Responsibilities include operating the POS system, cash handling, stocking and merchandising products, maintaining an organized, inviting store, and supporting lesson sign-ups. This role is ideal for someone passionate about music and education who enjoys customer interaction in a fast-paced, mission-driven retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers, students, parents, and educators in-store

• Support instrument sales, rentals, and accessory purchases

• Operate POS system, handle cash, and process transactions accurately

• Maintain organized, well-stocked, and visually appealing sales floor

• Assist with merchandising, pricing, and promotional displays

• Support lesson program sign-ups and scheduling as needed

• Receive, tag, and stock incoming inventory

• Coordinate with school service representatives when needed

• Follow loss-prevention and store safety procedures

• Provide friendly, knowledgeable service aligned with Music & Arts' mission Required Skills
