Seasonal Associate

KARM Stores is seeking Seasonal Associates to support our mission-driven thrift retail operations. In this role, you'll greet and assist customers, process and price donated goods, restock and merchandise sales floors, and maintain clean, organized store areas. You'll operate registers accurately, follow loss-prevention and safety guidelines, and help create a welcoming, Christ-centered environment. Seasonal Associates work as part of a supportive team, gaining hands-on experience in customer service, retail operations, and merchandising while helping fund programs serving people experiencing homelessness in East Tennessee.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with a friendly, Christ-centered attitude

• Operate cash register accurately and handle transactions securely

• Sort, price, and tag donated goods according to store guidelines

• Restock shelves and racks to maintain full, organized sales floors

• Merchandise items to highlight value and support sales goals

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in sales and backroom areas

• Follow loss-prevention, safety, and donation-handling procedures

• Support team members to meet daily operational and ministry goals Required Skills
