SAP S/4HANA SD Lead Consultant Salary: £95,000 to £110,000 + Benefits Location: Coventry Working Pattern: Hybrid, 3 days per week onsite Job Type: Permanent Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Full Time

A globally recognised technology organisation is looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA SD Lead Consultant to join its team, delivering a major enterprise-scale SAP transformation within the retail sector .

This is a senior SAP position combining hands-on SAP S/4HANA Sales & Distribution expertise with solution architecture and technical leadership . You will help shape the architecture and delivery of complex S/4HANA solutions, working closely with senior business stakeholders, IT Product Managers and engineering teams.

The successful candidate must have significant retail industry experience and hold an SAP S/4HANA SD certification .

Essential Skills & Experience

• Extensive experience with SAP S/4HANA Sales & Distribution (SD) .

• Proven experience operating as an SAP Solution Architect, Lead Consultant or equivalent senior SAP professional .

• Experience delivering large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation programmes .

• SAP S/4HANA SD certification - mandatory.

• Significant retail industry experience - mandatory.

• Deep functional expertise across Sales & Distribution .

• Strong knowledge of Master Data, Pricing, Billing, Taxes, Account Posting and Sales Documents .

• Hands-on experience configuring Material Master, Customer Master and Pricing Procedures .

• Strong understanding of Supply Chain and Logistics Execution processes.

• Knowledge of Procurement, Inventory Management and Invoice Processing.

• Experience with output determination and batch management.

• Strong understanding of the complete SAP delivery lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, training and documentation.

• Experience translating complex business requirements into enterprise SAP solutions.

• Strong stakeholder management and consulting capabilities.

• Understanding of software engineering, quality and testing standards.

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Multiple SAP S/4HANA implementations within a consultancy or systems integrator environment.

• Experience leading greenfield S/4HANA transformations .

• Experience migrating data from SAP ECC or legacy platforms to S/4HANA .

• Extensive experience across both SAP ECC and S/4HANA SD .

• Experience delivering major commercial transformation programmes within retail.

• Understanding of microservices and event-driven architecture .

• Knowledge of performance engineering, resilience and reliability-focused design.
