Sales Representative
Job Description
This role suits someone who enjoys both opening doors and building the trust needed for repeat sales.
What you will do

Build and manage a healthy pipeline of prospective customers, from first contact through proposal, negotiation and close.

Develop relationships with buyers, operators, distributors and other relevant partners across the food and beverage market.

Understand each customer's needs and present a clear commercial case for the products or service offering.

Grow existing accounts through regular contact, strong service and well-timed opportunities for additional business.

Prepare forecasts, track activity and use customer feedback and market insight to guide sales priorities.

Work closely with internal teams to support onboarding, resolve commercial issues and deliver a reliable customer experience.
What we are looking for

At least three years of relevant sales experience, including hands-on experience in food and beverage.

A track record of winning new business and growing customer accounts, with confidence managing a sales cycle independently.

A practical understanding of how customers in the sector buy, evaluate and work with suppliers.

Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills, with good organisation and follow-through.

Comfortable using sales data and a CRM or similar tools to manage opportunities and report progress.

Fluent professional English. (another language like italian or spanish will be a plus)
Package and application The package is a £38,000 annual base salary plus a £10,000 annual bonus linked to agreed performance objectives.
