Marketing Assistant

Smokey Mo's BBQ (SM SWITCHBACK LLC) is seeking a Marketing Assistant to support brand growth across our Texas barbecue restaurants. In this fast-paced, community-focused environment, you'll help execute social media, in-store promotions, and local marketing initiatives that drive guest traffic and brand awareness. Responsibilities include creating and scheduling digital content, supporting email and loyalty campaigns, gathering photos and videos from locations, and tracking basic performance metrics. You'll collaborate with operations and leadership to ensure consistent branding, support community events, and embody Texas hospitality in every interaction while learning the fundamentals of restaurant marketing.

Responsibilities

• Assist with creating and scheduling social media posts highlighting menu items, promotions, and community events

• Support in-store and local marketing initiatives, including flyers, signage, and promotional materials

• Collect photos and short videos from restaurant locations for use in digital campaigns

• Help coordinate email campaigns, loyalty promotions, and limited-time offers

• Track basic marketing metrics and prepare simple performance reports

• Maintain brand consistency across all marketing channels and materials

• Collaborate with operations teams to support local store marketing needs
