    WHO WE ARE We are Accenture's Supply Chain and Engineering reinvention partner for Life Sciences. We embed innovation, intelligence, and AI-native operations into the way the world designs, engineers, manufactures, and distributes products.     The Work: Accenture is seeking a Consultant to drive project execution in Digital CMC and PLM transformation work within our Supply Chain & Engineering practice for Life Sciences. We work with our pharmaceutical, biotech, medical technology, distributor and consumer health clients globally to redefine the future of the life sciences industry: combining the latest technology with scientific breakthroughs to revolutionize how medical treatments are discovered, developed and delivered to patients around the world.

    This role drives the enablement of digital thread and data backbone concepts at our clients to build foundational building blocks for AI and agentic operations.

    Key Responsibilities: At a Consultant level, key responsibilities could include:

    • Support project delivery of business and technology transformations by utilizing deep industry expertise in PLM, CMC, tech transfer, data as a product, knowledge graphs, data lineage, and AI-enabled business and technology transformation work

    • Understand business value levers for PLM and CMC reinvention across pharmaceuticals, biotech, MedTech and beyond including upstream R&D and downstream commercialization

    • Build and apply technical, industry, organization, and functional knowledge to support efforts in selling opportunities to existing and new clients

    • Engage deeply in project delivery with hands-on work executing against program priorities, leading work products, and coaching and mentoring others

    • Bring effective communications to manage both internal and external relationships and deliver with excellence

    • Support practice and people development across PLM, digital CMC, product development, product launch and data management in addition to day to day project delivery excellence Travel Requirements:

    Travel is required for this role and could vary from 0-75%.

    HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

    • Minimum of 3 years experience as part of a team focused consulting or industry in life sciences supply chain and manufacturing space in digital CMC and PLM

    • Demonstrated exposure to material flow and manufacturing engineering in automotive/industrial manufacturing plants. Experience with some of the workstreams involved for example: designing material delivery routes, performing 2D/3D simulations, IT/OT integration considerations, PFEP, business case considerations when deploying automated mobile robots (AMRs). Understanding of key vendors, risks, technologies in this space is of critical importance.

    BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

    • Experience with shop floor change management, performance improvement, business case and value management

    • Understanding of related ERP modules

    • Understanding of Plant Control Systems (DCS, PLC, SCADA, HMI, etc.)

    • Experience with simulation in factory environments

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 4 years' work experience). Industrial or engineering degree is preferred Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
