Janitorial Services Account Manager

ABM Industries is seeking a Janitorial Account Manager to oversee janitorial services across assigned client facilities. In this role, you will manage service contracts, lead and schedule cleaning teams, and ensure safe, clean, and compliant environments. You will build strong client relationships, monitor performance, conduct quality inspections, and resolve service issues quickly. The role includes training staff in safety and cleaning standards, managing supplies and labor within budget, and supporting ABM's culture of teamwork, inclusion, and frontline recognition.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple janitorial accounts and client relationships

• Lead, schedule, and support frontline janitorial teams

• Ensure facilities meet cleanliness, safety, and compliance standards

• Monitor performance metrics and conduct quality inspections

• Develop work plans, staffing, and supply needs for each site

• Train staff on safety, cleaning procedures, and equipment use

• Resolve service issues and implement corrective actions

• Collaborate with operations leaders on budgets and cost control

• Support continuous improvement and best-practice adoption
