Interim Head of Finance South East England Hybrid Working £75,000-£80,000 Pro Rata 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract

We're seeking an experienced Interim Head of Finance to support a large, complex organisation through a period of change and transformation.

This is a hands-on leadership role focused on strengthening financial controls, improving processes, driving efficiencies, and supporting the finance function through a significant transformation programme. You'll lead a talented controls team, provide operational and strategic guidance, and ensure robust governance and financial management throughout the transition period.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the financial controls team

• Review and enhance finance processes, controls and reporting

• Identify and deliver operational efficiencies and improvements

• Support organisational transformation and change initiatives

• Work closely with senior stakeholders to drive best practice and continuous improvement

• Ensure strong governance, compliance and financial control frameworks About You

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA)

• Proven experience in senior finance leadership roles

• Strong financial controls, governance and process improvement expertise

• Demonstrable success delivering change and transformation initiatives

• Ability to influence stakeholders and lead teams through periods of change
