Inside Sales

Builders Warehouse is seeking an Inside Sales professional to support contractors and trades from our Omaha location. In this role, you'll handle inbound calls, quotes, and orders for building materials, tools, and supplies, providing accurate product recommendations and pricing. You'll build relationships with repeat contractor accounts, coordinate with warehouse and delivery teams, and ensure orders are processed correctly and on time. Ideal candidates bring strong communication, attention to detail, basic construction product knowledge, and a commitment to safety, teamwork, and outstanding customer service in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound contractor calls, emails, and counter inquiries for building materials and supplies

• Prepare accurate quotes, enter orders, and confirm pricing, availability, and delivery timelines

• Provide product recommendations and basic technical guidance based on contractor needs

• Coordinate with warehouse and delivery teams to ensure timely, accurate fulfillment of orders

• Maintain and grow relationships with repeat contractor accounts through reliable, responsive service

• Use CRM and order entry systems to track opportunities, orders, and customer information

• Upsell and cross-sell complementary products to increase order value while serving customer needs

• Resolve order issues, returns, and discrepancies promptly and professionally

• Collaborate with outside sales and operations to support large projects and key accounts

• Follow all company safety policies and contribute to a clean, organized sales and counter area Required Skills
