Industrial Robotics Software Engineer

Viable Engineering Solutions LLC seeks an Industrial Robotics Software Engineer to design, program, and integrate robotic and automation systems for commercial and industrial clients. You will develop robot and PLC control logic, configure motion and safety systems, and support commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization of automated cells. Working in a collaborative, small-team environment, you'll interact closely with clients, contribute to practical, cost-effective solutions, document designs, mentor junior staff, and continuously refine tools and methods to improve performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design, program, and integrate industrial robotic cells and automation solutions for commercial and industrial clients.

• Develop and optimize robot paths, PLC logic, HMI interfaces, and motion control sequences.

• Configure safety systems, sensors, and communication networks to meet industry standards and client requirements.

• Support on-site commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of robotic systems.

• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and MEP engineers to deliver practical, cost-effective designs.

• Document software, configurations, and system architectures for internal and client use.

• Interface directly with clients to gather requirements, present solutions, and provide technical support.

• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal tools, standards, and best practices for robotics and automation.
