Human Resources Generalist

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc., a renowned leader in the field of security services, is looking for a dedicated and proactive Human Resources Generalist to join our HR team. In this role, you will be integral in supporting our mission to protect homes, workplaces, and communities by managing various HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, and compliance within the dynamic environment of security and law enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Administer various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel; assists in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.

• Conduct recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel; conducts new-employee orientations; monitors career-pathing program, and writes and places advertisements.

• Handle employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling, and exit interviewing.

• Participate in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars. Maintain company organization charts and employee directory.

• Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws.

Required Skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems)

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

• Knowledge of employment laws and practices
